Greg Schwab, Ph.D

Dr. Greg Schwab is a certified professional agronomist and has spent his career working in various aspects of production agriculture. At Elevar, Greg helps clients stay at the forefront of industry trends while providing turnkey support (including market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, coordinating field research, and educating sales teams) to clients developing innovative fertilizer products. Prior to joining Elevar, Greg served as the Vice President of Agronomy and Innovation at Koch Agronomic Services (KAS) and other leadership roles for 12 years. At KAS, he was responsible for building the global agronomy team, establishing the company’s science-based reputation and leading agronomic due diligence on acquisitions and licensing agreements. Prior to Koch, Greg was a faculty member at both the University of Kentucky and Washington State University for a total of 11 years. At both institutions, he held an extension and research appointment where he conducted small and large-scale replicated field trials and mentored graduate students. During this period, he worked closely with farmers helping them to adopt new products and production techniques to improve profitability, efficiency, and sustainability. Greg received his Ph.D. in soil fertility and plant nutrition from Kansas State University while working full-time as the Manager of the Kansas State Soil and Plant Testing Laboratory.
