Daniel Solomon

Since co-founding Elevar Partners in 2019, Dan has helped establish Elevar's strategic advisory capabilities across a range of industries.  These advisory engagements have created opportunities for Elevar to co-invest with its clients and develop new business platforms.  Dan was also instrumental in the formation of Elevar Climate Solutions, and he has provided CFO services and served as a board member to numerous Elevar clients. Dan's career spans more than 30 years in strategy and finance leadership roles in energy, agriculture, industrial manufacturing, business and technology services, and risk management. Dan currently serves as chief financial officer for Ideatek, a provider of high-speed internet service to rural Kansans. Previously, Dan worked at Koch Industries, serving in senior finance roles. He was chief financial officer of Koch Engineered Solutions, a global group of companies that design, engineer, manufacture, install and maintain critical equipment solutions used in industrial manufacturing processes. Dan also served as chief risk officer of Koch Industries, where he was responsible for risk management of Koch Industries’ commodity trading and investment portfolio and was the chief financial officer for Koch Minerals where he supported the expansion of the company’s global bulk commodity merchant business and its oil & gas exploration business. Prior to Koch, Dan spent over a decade in strategy consulting and private equity. He has a bachelor’s degree in mathematical methods and computer studies from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
